Authorities in Essex County New Jersey are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Marlon Mendez Tijerino, 47, who has been missing since Wednesday, December 17, 2025. He was last seen near Clark Street and Broad Street in Newark, New Jersey. Tijerino is described as Hispanic, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, with a light complexion, black hair, and brown eyes. At the time he disappeared, he was wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans, and white Adidas flip flops. Officials say he is believed to be in good mental and physical condition.
