🕰️🌧️ The Disappearance of Marble Ace Arvidson 🌧️🕰️

On the afternoon of August 27, 2011, 17 year old Marble Ace Arvidson, known for his whimsical humor and creative spirit, answered a knock at his West Brattleboro, Vermont home and briefly spoke with an unidentified man before leaving the house. As was typical for him, Marble left behind a playful note saying he’d be back in 30 minutes, off to “frolic with some friendly gremlins.” He was expected home by 4 p.m. to meet his girlfriend but never returned, nor did he contact anyone. As night fell, Tropical Storm Irene swept through Vermont, unleashing catastrophic flooding, destroying infrastructure, and claiming lives. By morning, Marble’s housemates realized he was missing. Despite extensive searches and years of investigation, no trace of Marble was ever found. Raised amid family instability, foster care, and mental health challenges, Marble was nevertheless a bright student with close relationships, future plans, and no indication he intended to run away. An avid hiker, some believe he may have been lost or killed in the storm, while others focus on the unidentified man last seen with him. Over a decade later, Marble Arvidson’s disappearance remains unsolved, his story lingering as a haunting mystery. 🖤🌊
