🕯️Lynda Moore — Unsolved Homicide🕯️

Lynda Moore, a 36 year old wife, mother of two, and well-loved member of the Saxtons River community, was brutally murdered in her Westminster, Vermont home on April 15, 1986. She had been home alone when her husband returned shortly after 3 p.m. and found her on the living room floor, stabbed more than 20 times, with evidence she fought fiercely against her attacker. Investigators found no signs of forced entry or robbery, and the murder weapon was never recovered, suggesting the assailant fled immediately after the attack. Despite roadblocks, interviews, composite sketches, and decades of continued investigation using advancing forensic technology, no arrests have been made. More than three decades later, Lynda’s killing remains unsolved, leaving her family and community still searching for answers. 💔
