🕯️ Missing From VT: The Disappearance of Ashley Goodrich 💔
Ashley Goodrich, a beloved daughter, sister, mother of three, and friend, has been missing from Fair Haven, Vermont since October 17, 2021. Her disappearance has left a lasting void in the lives of those who love her, and her family believes foul play was involved. In hopes of bringing Ashley home and securing justice, her family increased the reward for information leading to her recovery and the conviction of those responsible from $10,000 to $25,000 as of October 8, 2025. Ashley, who grew up in Addison County, had recently married and was living with her husband, Garrett on Prospect Street, where she was last seen walking away from the home along nearby railroad tracks. Initially, her family was not alarmed, as they continued receiving text messages and Facebook communications from her accounts, something they believed fit her past patterns of occasionally needing distance. However, as months passed without phone calls or in-person contact, concern grew, and she was officially reported missing on December 29, 2022.
Since then, the case has remained unresolved despite extensive searches and an ongoing investigation. On June 30, 2023, police searched the Prospect Street property Ashley shared with her husband, including excavating areas around the home, though no findings have been publicly disclosed. Authorities also followed a lead suggesting Ashley was near Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, but she was not located there. Investigators have acknowledged that the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious and out of character, with Fair Haven Police Chief stating that while there is hope Ashley will be found, evidence suggests something tragic may have occurred. Ashley is described as a white female, 5’1” and 120 pounds, with brown (sometimes dyed blonde) hair, blue eyes, and distinctive tattoos on her chest and upper arm. She may have been associated with a gray 2009 Ford Explorer or a blue Subaru WRX with gold wheels and temporary Vermont plates. Her case is classified as endangered missing and remains open with the Fair Haven Police Department, who urge anyone with information to come forward.
Her family continues to search tirelessly, determined to find answers and bring Ashley home. 🕯️💙
