🚨🕯️ Missing in Pennsylvania – Matthew McDonald 🕯️🚨

29 year old Matthew McDonald of Washington County, Pennsylvania, has been missing since March 7, 2023. He was last in contact with his family that day. Two days later, on March 9, he reportedly completed work at a job site in California, PA, and was picked up by his girlfriend. Authorities were told she drove him to the area of Howe Cemetery in Coal Center, PA. When she returned to pick him up, Matthew was gone. He has not been seen or heard from since.

According to his family, Matthew was left on a rural road near the Monongahela River without a phone and with only the clothes he was wearing. There have been no confirmed sightings, no contact, and very few leads. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, and it is unknown whether foul play, an accident, or a voluntary act was involved.

Matthew is described as 6’1” tall and approximately 195 pounds, with brown hair with a reddish tint, brown eyes, and multiple tattoos on his arms, including praying hands on his right arm. He was last seen wearing a black Mossy Oak hoodie with camouflage lettering, a black or blue hat, black-rimmed glasses, brown work boots, and brown carpenter-style cargo pants.

Over a year later, his family continues to search for answers. They recently gathered at the location where he was last seen to hold a vigil in his honor. Loved ones wore pink, Matthew’s favorite color, as candles were lit in the rain and prayers were said. His mother shared the daily heartbreak of waking up and realizing this is not a nightmare, while his grandmother recalled their final exchange of “I love you more.” The McDonald family is pleading for justice, answers, and for the community to keep looking.

Matthew is a son, grandson, and father, and his family refuses to give up hope.
