🚨 A Father of Four Vanishes Without a Trace 💔
Luke Benoit, a 31 year old father of four, disappeared on the afternoon of June 28, 2022, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, leaving behind a devastated family and a mystery that remains unsolved. He was last seen walking near Boyd’s Lane and Norseman Drive, but earlier that day at 1:27 p.m., he had stopped at the Neon Marketplace, purchasing two packs of cigarettes, two bottles of water, and a bottle of ginger ale. Just nine minutes later, Luke made a final phone call to his wife, Stephanie, during which he reportedly made concerning remarks about his well-being and state of mind. His phone later pinged around 2 a.m. on June 29 near the Sakonnet River Bridge, then went silent. Since that moment, Luke has never been seen or heard from again, and there has been no activity on his bank accounts.
Described as a white male standing about 5’6” with dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a beard, Luke has distinctive forearm tattoos reading “Carter” and “Emilia,” the names of his two oldest children. He was last known to be wearing a gray Adidas t-shirt and a gray and black baseball cap. Despite extensive searches by family, friends, and volunteers, no trace of him has been found. A possible sighting was reported months later in Fall River, Massachusetts, where a woman believed she saw him on Airport Road, but this lead has not been confirmed.
Luke’s disappearance has left his wife and children struggling to cope with the uncertainty, holding onto hope while preparing for every possible outcome. The local community has rallied around them, offering support, food, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time. His aunt, Marsha, shared a heartfelt message: “Luke, if you see this, please come home. We love and miss you. Your children need you, your family needs you.”
