🕯️The Unidentified Young Man Found in Brooklyn Harbor 💔

On May 16, 2011, a heartbreaking discovery was made in the waters of New York Harbor in Brooklyn. The body of an unidentified young man was recovered after it is believed he had been deceased for several weeks. More than a decade later, he remains without a name, and the story of who he was, and what led to his death, remains a painful mystery. Investigators estimate he was between 17 and 23 years old and may have been of South Asian or Middle Eastern ancestry. He stood approximately 5’8″ tall and weighed around 173 pounds. At the time he was found, he was wearing dark dress slacks with folded cuffs, striped Fruit of the Loom boxer shorts, a belt with a yellow metal buckle, and remnants of dark-colored socks. To help restore his identity, a forensic artist with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) created a facial reconstruction showing what he may have looked like during his life, along with digital reconstructions of the clothing and belt he was wearing. Someone, somewhere, may recognize him and finally give him back the name he has been missing for so many years.
