The Nameless
Babylon NY Unidentified (April 4, 2011)

They Deserve Their Name Back: Help Identify This Unknown Victim 💙🕯️
For years, this individual has remained unidentified, leaving behind only unanswered questions and the hope that one day someone will recognize them and help restore the identity that was taken away. Estimated to have been between 17 and 23 years old, they stood approximately 5’3″ to 5’9″ tall and were of Asian ancestry. Although investigators could not determine many personal characteristics, the clothing found with them offers important clues about who they may have been.
When their skeletal remains were discovered on April 4, 2011, near Ocean Parkway, east of Gilgo Beach in Babylon, New York, they were wearing women’s clothing, including a gray ribbed “Chrysantheme” short-sleeve crew-neck shirt, a size 10 “Rafaella” shirt, “Bill Blass” blue jeans, and a bra. Investigators have noted that this clothing may have reflected how the individual lived or expressed themselves in everyday life. Their death was ruled a homicide, and investigators believe they had been deceased for at least five years before their remains were found.
Behind every unidentified victim is a person who had a life, a story, and people who may still be searching for answers. No one deserves to remain nameless, and every victim deserves dignity, remembrance, and justice. Even the smallest piece of information could help investigators uncover their identity and bring long-awaited answers to those who may still be wondering what happened.
