🔎 Edward “Mitt” Croley Deserved to Come Home — Help Bring Justice 🕊️

At just 14 years old, Edward “Mitt” Croley’s life was tragically cut short, leaving behind unanswered questions and a family that has waited far too long for justice. Mitt, a young Black teenager from Albany, New York, was last seen in late March 1991 near Northern Boulevard and Livingston Street after staying with relatives on Orange Street. He was expected to attend Maywood School, but he never made it there. For months, his loved ones searched and hoped for his safe return. Then, on January 8, 1992, their worst fears became reality when Mitt’s remains were discovered in a wooded area along Route 144 in Selkirk/Coeymans. Investigators determined he had suffered blunt-force trauma, and his death was ruled a homicide.

More than three decades later, the person responsible has still not been brought to justice. Edward’s family deserves answers, and Mitt deserves to have his story remembered.
