Barnett Zeldin was 74 years old when he was last seen at his home on the morning of October 7, 2013. He indicated that he would be going hunting near Oswego Lake in Washington Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. He went to the Wharton Forest Park, there planning to bait his tree stand in preparation for deer hunting season. He was expected back at the Audubon Hunting Club on the same night and failed to return. His 1992 Chevy Blazer was found on the side of the road in close proximity of his hunting stand, with the windows down, his dog inside, and his keys in the ignition. His cell phone and wallet were both inside the vehicle as well. He was last seen wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a flannel of unknown colors. Possibly wearing tennis shoes that were a dirty white color, a gold wedding band, a gold chain with a gold marlin and gold pretzel charms. He is a white male, 5’07” in height, weighing 150 lbs with brown, greying hair and brown eyes. His date of birth is listed as 9/5/1939. He usually went by the nickname Barry.
