Jennifer “Moonbeam” Hammond was just 18 when she vanished in late August 2003 while selling magazine subscriptions in the Creek and Pines Trailer Park in Ballston Spa, New York. Originally from Littleton, Colorado, she was supposed to meet her employer for pickup, but she never arrived. Her belongings were later found untouched in an Albany hotel, and the bus ticket she’d arranged to return home was never claimed. Jennifer never contacted her family again.
In October 2009, her skull and partial remains were discovered in a remote wooded area off Lake Desolation Road in Greenfield, NY, and her case was officially ruled a homicide. More than two decades later, her murder remains unsolved.
