🕯️The Homicide of Robert Darling Jr. 🕯️
Robert Darling Jr., a 21 year old man from Gloversville, New York, was last seen on August 3, 1984, by his roommate before leaving for work. He was reported missing the same day by his father. Robert was known to be involved in the local drug trade and often carried significant amounts of cash. On October 20, 1984, hunters discovered his decomposed body in a wooded area off Benson Road in Hamilton County, about 10 miles north of his home. An autopsy confirmed he had been shot in the head, and his death was ruled a homicide, believed possibly tied to robbery.
