On the morning of October 10, 1991, 12-year-old Tiffany Madia Dixon left home for what should have been an ordinary school day in Brooklyn, New York. As she did every morning, Tiffany lovingly walked her 8-year-old brother to Carroll Elementary School (P.S. 58), making sure he safely reached the school doors before continuing the short three-to-four-block walk to P.S. Junior High School 142, where she was a seventh-grade student. She was last seen near the school around 8:00 a.m., but she never made it to class. Tiffany has never been seen or heard from again.

Tiffany was described as a responsible, caring, and protective young girl who was deeply devoted to her younger brothers. Those who knew her have always believed she would never have run away or left on her own. Like many children her age, she had big dreams for the future. She once hoped to become a scientist before deciding she wanted to pursue modeling instead. Tragically, just two months after Tiffany disappeared, her mother passed away from AIDS, and only a few months later, her father also died from the same illness. Tiffany never had the chance to see either of them again, leaving her family with unimaginable heartbreak and decades of unanswered questions.

When Tiffany disappeared, she was 12 years old, stood between 4’11” and 5’2″, weighed approximately 105 pounds, and had black hair, brown eyes, pierced ears, and a mole on her left thigh. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue blouse, blue pants, black socks, and black sneakers.

More than 34 years have passed since Tiffany vanished, yet her case remains unsolved. Her family has never stopped searching, and someone may still hold the missing piece that could finally reveal what happened that October morning. Even the smallest memory or detail could make a difference.
