For more than a decade, one woman has been living without knowing her own name, her true history, or where she came from. 💔

In 2013, an African American woman was found on the streets of Detroit, Michigan. She was unable to tell investigators who she was or provide reliable information about her past.

Today, she resides at Beyond Boundaries Adult Foster Care Facility in Romulus, Michigan, where she continues to live with unanswered questions about her identity.

She calls herself “China Black” and believes she is married to a man named Peter Smith. She also believes they have a son named David.

She is believed to be in her 50s or 60s. She has said she is 52 years old.

• Black/African American female
• Approximately 5’6″–5’8″
• Approximately 110–130 lbs.
• Graying black hair
• Double amputee, amputated at the knees
• Wheelchair user

Investigators believe she may have some form of cognitive impairment or amnesia that prevents her from remembering her name and personal history. She may have ties to the Detroit area, but her true identity remains unknown.
