The Murdered
William C. Spicer Jr.
Groton Connecticut

🔎 30+ Years Later… Someone May Still Have the Answer 💔
On March 15, 1995, 82-year-old William Spicer Jr. was found stabbed to death inside his Ford Taurus on his family’s Sparkle Lake Tree Farm in Groton, Connecticut. 🌲
More than 30 years later, his murder remains unsolved. 🕰️
William was retired and spent his days caring for his wife, who had Alzheimer’s, and tending the tree farm. During the Christmas season 🎄, he sold trees, and generously donated those that didn’t sell to families who couldn’t afford one.
When his body was discovered, his wallet was missing, and investigators never identified the weapon used in the killing. 🔪
Over the years, investigators have returned to the property, including searches involving the FBI, Connecticut State Police dive teams, and other agencies. 👮♂️🔍 New technology, including advanced DNA testing, sonar and underwater detection equipment, could potentially uncover evidence that wasn’t detectable decades ago.
💰 A $50,000 REWARD is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
Police are hoping that after all these years, someone remembers something, and is finally ready to speak up. 🙏
