Five years have passed since 27-year-old Rajah Adriana McQueen disappeared from Cleveland.
Five years of unanswered questions, of wondering where she is. Of a family waiting for answers.
Rajah was a mother, daughter, sister, and loved one whose family has never stopped searching for her.
Her sister, Shamir, still remembers the last conversation they shared on the day Rajah disappeared. Rajah told her she was going somewhere with a friend and would call later. Shamir told her to be careful and that she loved her.
That was the last time she ever spoke to her sister.
Shamir described Rajah as “bubbly, sweet, very energetic” and “a ball of light.” Those who loved her have spent five years trying to find that light again.
🚗 Rajah was last seen around 7:30 a.m. on June 26, 2021, in her silver 2018 Nissan Sentra near East 131st Street and Harvard Avenue in Cleveland.
Hours later, surveillance footage reportedly captured someone else driving her vehicle.
The car had been altered and had two bullet holes, one in the roof and another in the rear passenger door. Its hubcaps and license plate were also missing, and a dealer plate was visible in the rear window.
Rajah was not seen in the footage.
Her vehicle has never been recovered.
💔 Rajah’s mother passed away on February 5 without ever knowing what happened to her daughter.
Shamir said:
“My mom passed away… not knowing where her child is. Like, that’s torture.”
Rajah’s sons, now teenagers, continue to hope that their mother will come home. And her family continues to wait.
Investigators have said the case is now being treated as a death investigation. Authorities have identified persons of interest, but no one has been charged in connection with Rajah’s disappearance.
The investigation remains active.
