💙🌲 WHERE IS STEFANIE DAMRON? 🌲💙
It has been nearly two years since 13-year-old Stefanie Damron disappeared from her family’s home in New Sweden, Maine. And there is still no confirmed sighting of her.
Stefanie was last seen on September 23, 2024, leaving her family’s home on West Road in New Sweden and walking into the woods. Her family reported her missing the following day, September 24.
She was only 13 years old.
According to her father, Dale Damron, Stefanie had gotten into an argument with her sister before she walked away. Dale said the family initially believed Stefanie had taken a familiar trail through the woods toward an area known locally as the “mud hole,” where children would go to catch tadpoles and play.
But when the family returned home, Stefanie wasn’t there. And she hasn’t been seen since. 💔
Stefanie’s parents have spoken publicly about the beginning of the investigation. They said they were urged to remain quiet while investigators worked, because authorities were concerned that releasing too much information could potentially compromise the investigation or put Stefanie at greater risk if someone had taken her.
Her mother, Lisa Damron, said the family’s greatest fear was that someone could be holding Stefanie and that revealing her age could potentially put her in further danger.
These statements reflect the family’s recollection of what they were told during the investigation and have not been presented as established facts about what happened to Stefanie.
🔎 THE SEARCH CONTINUES
Stefanie’s family has organized private searches over the years, while law enforcement has continued investigating her disappearance.
Maine State Police say detectives continue to follow up on information and leads and conduct proactive investigative efforts.
Authorities have also announced increased law-enforcement activity in the New Sweden area as part of ongoing efforts to locate Stefanie, including involvement from the Maine State Police and Maine Warden Service.
Because this remains an active investigation, authorities have said they cannot publicly discuss specific investigative efforts or details.
Despite all of this, there have been NO CONFIRMED SIGHTINGS of Stefanie since she disappeared.

Stefanie turned 15 on October 6, 2025.
Her family has now spent years wondering where their daughter is and what happened to her after she walked into those woods.
Her father has publicly described the moment the family realized she wasn’t coming back.
Her mother has spoken about their fears. And investigators continue to work the case.
💰 A REWARD OF UP TO $15,000 is being offered by the FBI and Maine State Police for information leading to Stefanie’s safe return and/or information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone involved in her disappearance.
Stefanie’s family has never stopped searching.
Neither should we.
She was 13 years old when she disappeared. She should be 15 now, growing up, making memories, and living her life.
