James Clements, who was 69 years old when he was last seen, has been missing since July 4, 2025. His disappearance has left unanswered questions about what happened to him while he was hiking one of the most well-known trails in the country.
James was last known to be hiking the Appalachian Trail from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, toward Maine. On July 5, 2025, his personal belongings were reportedly found along the trail. However, James himself was nowhere to be found, and he has not been seen since July 4.
James is described as a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. When he was last seen, he was reportedly wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
At 71 years old, James remains missing, and there are still questions surrounding his disappearance. š„ŗš Every missing person deserves to be remembered, and every detail, no matter how small it may seem, could potentially help bring answers to those searching for them.
