π¨π Still Missing: What Happened to Dylan Arthur Sanford? π―οΈ
On December 5, 2018, 27-year-old Dylan Arthur Sanford left a residence on Market Street in Somersworth, New Hampshire, to make what should have been a quick trip to a local convenience store to buy cigarettes. He never returned. More than seven years later, Dylan remains missing, and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are still unknown.
Dylan was a father, a son, and a man with a future he was working toward. At the time, he ran his own carpet installation business and was preparing to move to Salem, New Hampshire. He had recently completed a 30-day drug rehabilitation program and was trying to move forward with his life.
One of the most heartbreaking details is the bond Dylan shared with his four-year-old son. According to his family, Dylan was in close contact with his little boy and would never willingly abandon him. His loved ones have spent years wondering what happened to him and searching for answers they still desperately need.
π°οΈ Dylan had reportedly spent the night of December 4 at a residence on Market Street. Between approximately 6 and 7 p.m. the following evening, he left to buy cigarettes, possibly at Borderline Beverage or Stateline Mini Mart. He never returned.
Later that evening, Dylan reportedly contacted the mother of his son and told her he had accidentally overdosed and had been revived with Narcan. That conversation was the last known communication anyone had with him.
Then, another troubling discovery was made.
Three days after Dylan disappeared, his wallet was found in a yard approximately half a mile from where he was last seen. The only item inside was a medical identification card belonging to his son’s mother. Why was his wallet there? How did it end up so far from the place he was last seen? These are among the many unanswered questions surrounding his disappearance.
π Investigators have followed leads over the years. In September 2019, graffiti appeared throughout the Tri-Cities area alleging that Dylan had been murdered and naming three men as responsible. Police investigated the messages and interviewed the individuals named, but authorities have continued to classify the case as a missing-person investigation.
That same month, police searched a residence on Franklin Street in Somersworth after receiving a tip that Dylan might be there. Unfortunately, the search did not locate him.
Dylan’s family fears that his disappearance may have been connected to drugs and believes he may no longer be alive. However, his fate has never been confirmed, and the truth about what happened to him remains unknown.
ποΈ Dylan was only 27 years old when he vanished. His son was just four. Years of childhood memories, birthdays, holidays, and milestones have passed without Dylan there. His family is left with questions, uncertainty, and the hope that someone will eventually come forward with information that can bring them closer to the truth.
Dylan is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighed around 170 pounds at the time of his disappearance. He was last known to be wearing jeans, a jacket, and shoes.
π Someone may remember seeing him that evening. Someone may know why his wallet was abandoned. Someone may have heard something that could help investigators understand what happened.
Even the smallest piece of information could matter. Dylan deserves to be found, and his family deserves answers.
