๐๐ฏ๏ธ Missing for 27 Years: What Happened to Charlene Gagnon? ๐ฏ๏ธ๐
On August 6, 1999, 39-year-old Charlene Gagnon disappeared under troubling circumstances after reportedly traveling from her home in Concord, New Hampshire, to an apartment in Manchester. More than 27 years later, investigators are asking the public to help uncover what happened to her.
Charlene, who also went by the names Charlene Kimball and Charlene Randall, was reportedly accompanied by an acquaintance from her residence at 58 Manchester Street to an apartment on Lowell Street in Manchester.
According to police, the acquaintance later returned to the apartment and looked inside, where Charlene was reportedly seen. She allegedly fled through a rear exit and down a set of stairs. Investigators believe she may then have entered a dark-colored pickup truck bearing Florida license plates. From that moment on, Charlene vanished, and she has never been heard from again.
At the time, Charlene was described as a white woman, approximately 5โ6โ tall and weighing around 130 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder-length, curly or frizzy blonde or strawberry-blonde hair.
She has several distinguishing features that may help someone recognize her: a complete set of upper dentures, a tattoo reading โEddieโ on her right arm, a quarter-sized birthmark on the back of her left leg above the knee, a scar on her lip, a scar on the left side of her neck, and three C-section scars on her abdomen.
Today, Charlene would be 65 years old.
In an effort to generate new leads, the Concord Police Department partnered with the FBI Boston Divisionโs Cold Case Team to develop an age-progressed image showing what Charlene might look like today. Investigators hope the updated image will help someone recognize her or recall information that could move the investigation forward.
๐ What happened after Charlene was reportedly seen leaving the Manchester apartment? Who was driving the dark-colored pickup truck, and did anyone witness something that could help explain her disappearance?
Investigators are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who knew Charlene or may have information about her activities, relationships, or associates in Concord or Manchester during August 1999. Even a detail that seemed unimportant at the time could be significant today.
