The Nameless
Richmond Virginia John Doe (July 2020)

🕯️🔎 Still Unidentified: The Man Found in Richmond, Virginia
On July 2, 2020, the skeletal remains of an unidentified man were discovered in an overgrown wooded area of Richmond, Virginia, approximately 200 yards from the nearest road or business. A nearby pathway was noted, but investigators had few clues about who he was.
He is estimated to have been between 39 and 64 years old, approximately 5’2” to 5’7” tall, and died sometime between 2019 and 2020.
One distinctive feature may help someone recognize him: fractures to his nose would have caused it to deviate toward the left.
At the time he was found, he was wearing a tan, burgundy and black striped sweater, burgundy elastic-waist pants, a blue T-shirt and one extra-extra-large non-skid sock. He also wore black sneakers and had a blue BIC lighter. One or both of his hands were not recovered.
Despite the information available, he remains unidentified. Someone may recognize his description or remember a friend or relative who disappeared around that time.
🙏 He deserves to have his name restored and his story brought to light.
