π―οΈπ STILL MISSING: The Disappearance of 15-Year-Old Kathy Sue Wilcox ππ―οΈ
On July 12, 1972, 15-year-old Kathy Sue Wilcox left her home on West Franklin Street in Otsego, Michigan, following a family argument. Upset and angry, she walked away after reportedly telling her family, βI will never see you again.β
Kathy left behind all her belongings and money. She never returned, and her whereabouts have remained unknown for more than five decades.
According to her sister, Kathy had become increasingly rebellious before she vanished and had begun associating with people considered to be a rough crowd. Unfortunately, very little information is available about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Her sister is still alive and searching for answers, hoping to learn what became of Kathy after she walked away that July day.
π Kathy was 15 years old when she disappeared. She was a white female with shoulder-length brown hair and blue-gray eyes. She stood approximately 5’4″ tall and weighed around 130 pounds.
She was last seen wearing:
β’ A purple shirt
β’ Blue jeans
Distinguishing characteristics:
β’ A hooked fingernail on one of her index fingers
β’ Healed fractures in her legs
β’ Previous broken toes from the late 1960s or early 1970s
Kathy’s photograph has been age-progressed to show what she may have looked like at approximately 57 years old. Today, she would be 69.
Someone may remember Kathy, know something about the people she associated with, or have information that could help investigators determine what happened.
