🕯️🌻 STILL MISSING: Where Are Kaylah Neveah Hunter and Her Brother, Kristian? 🌻🕯️
On May 24, 2014, six-year-old Kaylah Neveah Hunter disappeared from Detroit, Michigan, alongside her nine-month-old half-brother, Kristian Dejuan Justice, and their mother, Alicia Marie Fox. What began as a missing-family investigation soon became a heartbreaking case involving the death of their mother and the disappearance of two young children.
Alicia and her kids had been living with her husband, Erin Maurice Justice, Kristian’s father. The family had moved out of their home on Ardmore Street shortly before vanishing. On June 3, Kaylah’s father received a text message supposedly from Alicia, although investigators do not believe she sent it.
The family became increasingly concerned when the children failed to return and Kaylah missed her kindergarten graduation. They were officially reported missing on June 6.
Three days later, Alicia’s body was discovered inside a vacant house on Penrod Street in Detroit. There was no sign of Kaylah or Kristian.
Investigators determined that Erin was responsible for Alicia’s murder. He was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, and later pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and a felony weapons charge. In September 2015, he was sentenced to 45 to 80 years in prison.
Timothy Bernard Jones, a longtime friend of Erin’s, was also charged in connection with helping conceal Alicia’s body. According to information provided to investigators, Jones stated that the children were still alive when he helped move the body.
Despite the investigation and subsequent convictions, the whereabouts of Kaylah and Kristian remain unknown. Authorities believe both children are in grave danger. Investigators have also considered the possibility that they could have been taken to the Atlanta area, where Erin was eventually arrested.
🌻 Kaylah was six years old when she disappeared. She is a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She stood approximately 4’5″ tall and weighed around 65 pounds. She may wear her hair in cornrows.

🌻 Kristian was only nine months old when he was last seen. He is a Black male with curly black hair and brown eyes. At the time, he was approximately 22–26 inches tall and weighed between 17 and 20 pounds.
An age-progressed image has also been created to help show how Kristian may look today.
At the time the children were last seen, they may have been traveling in a 2004 burgundy or maroon four-door Chevrolet Impala with Michigan license plate CCR1286. The vehicle has since been accounted for.
Kaylah’s grandmother, Travae, and other family members have continued seeking answers. Their family has spent years hoping the children can finally be recovered and brought home.

Kaylah would now be 18 years old, and Kristian would be approximately 13. Two young children have been missing for more than a decade, and their family is still waiting for answers.
