On January 17, 2023, the remains of an unidentified man were discovered in the water near Crandon Park Marina in Key Biscayne, Florida. Despite efforts to determine his identity, he remains unidentified, and the questions surrounding who he was and what happened to him remain unanswered.
The man was believed to be approximately 31 years old. He was Black/African American, stood about 5’7″ tall, and weighed approximately 133 pounds. He had curly, coarse black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators documented several details about the clothing he was wearing when he was found. He had on a blue Adidas basketball shorts and an XL Dream Diva T-shirt bearing the words “Be Humble.”
One particularly important detail listed in his NamUs profile is the possible name associated with him: “Cindy Jhon.” It is unclear whether this was a name he used, an alias, or information that could help establish his identity.
