π¨π STILL MISSING: What Happened to Christine Lynn Slinger? ππ¨
Christine Lynn Slinger was just 27 years old when she disappeared from Massillon, Ohio, on August 20, 2017. Nearly a decade later, her whereabouts remain unknown, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance have never been resolved.
That evening, Christine left her mother’s home in the 3300 block of Hilton Street NW at approximately 7:00 p.m. She got into a vehicle with her ex-boyfriend, Steven T. Stafford II, who was also the father of her young daughter. Stafford later told investigators that he dropped Christine off at the Sandy Valley Estates mobile home park near State Route 800 in Magnolia, Ohio. She was never heard from again.
Christine was the mother of two young children, and her family says it is completely out of character for her to disappear without warning. She left behind the people who loved her, and they have spent years waiting for answers.
Stafford was questioned by police and was scheduled to take a polygraph examination on August 22, just two days after Christine vanished. He never appeared. That same day, his body was discovered at his home in New Philadelphia, Ohio. He had died by suicide, leaving behind a note expressing love for his daughter.
Investigators and Christine’s family have considered the possibility that Stafford may have been involved in her disappearance, but his involvement has never been proven. Authorities have not established what happened to Christine, and there is no confirmed evidence publicly establishing that she was harmed.
Christine was last known to be wearing a light blue tank top, blue denim capri pants or jeans, and either pink-and-black flip-flops or white sneakers. She may have been wearing rings and had acrylic fingernails. She is 5’3″ tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. Her ears are pierced.
π Christine deserves to be found. Her children and loved ones deserve answers, and her disappearance should not be forgotten. Someone may know something that could finally help bring this case closer to resolution.
