William Joseph Jamison was last seen on the night of March 27, 1981 in Linden NJ. (some reports say Roselle Park, New Jersey.) He left his home in the Colfax Manor Apartments in the 600 block of St. Georges Avenue after working a regular shift at his job in Kenilworth, driving his company car, a dark blue 1981 Ford LTD Station Wagon with New Jersey plates 861-PKY. He was employed by Haug Die Casting Co. at the time. William was wearing a dark brown suede coat, a blue or white Oxford dress shirt with dress slacks and dress shoes. He was also wearing a watch. William first went to a bowling alley on Stiles Street after departing his home, and then went to St. George’s Diner. He left the diner at approximately 1:30 a.m. and neither he nor the car has ever been seen again. Roselle park authorities are handling this investigation.
William is originally from Pennsylvania, and he is one of ten children. He graduated from Temple University in Pennsylvania in 1969 with an accounting degree. He is a decorated United States Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He has an inch-long scar on his chin and a half-inch scar on his right ear. His nickname is Bill. He wears a 6 1/2 in shoes, which is a small size for his height. Dental charts are available online. Williams case remains unsolved.
