Edgar Pelaez was 38 years old when he disappeared. He was last seen at his home on Parker Avenue, around July 16th or 17th, 2022. He has had no contact with family or friends since that day, and they are concerned for his welfare. He is considered an endangered missing person due to an unspecified medical condition.
According to NamUs, Edgar was last seen on the 17th by his roommate who stated when he returned home later that day, Edgar was gone. He also mentioned that Edgar had been talking about his desire to “detox” from an unspecified addiction issue, but gave no specific information on any particular rehab facility. Edgar has no cell phone and no vehicle.
Edgar is a Hispanic male, 5’04” in height, 125 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes. He has a light brown complexion and his date of birth is listed as 6/5/1984. He is known to frequent the areas of Parker and Highland Avenues, as well as the Passaic River and Dundee Park.

Strangely, Edgar was very recently put on the NJ State Police website despite being missing for three months, and the information they provided is incorrect according to several other internet sources. Links down below.
