The Nameless
Baby Boy Doe
Vernon, New Jersey

The nameless Baby Boy Doe of Vernon, New Jersey, was a newborn infant whose life ended far too soon. He was discovered on February 27, 1994, in Vernon, located in Sussex County. Investigators determined that he was a Caucasian male, estimated to have been born in 1994 and to have died on the same day he was found. He measured between 1 foot 8 inches and 1 foot 10 inches in length, weighed approximately 7 pounds, and had blonde hair and blue eyes. Though no photographs of him are available, full X-rays were preserved in the hope that they might one day help identify him. More than three decades later, this child remains unnamed, remembered only through the details recorded in his case file. A brief record of a life that deserved to be known, cherished, and mourned.
