On February 21, 1985, the body of an unidentified White male was discovered in Essex County, New Jersey. More than 40 years later, he remains unidentified, and someone, somewhere, may still be searching for answers. Investigators estimate he was between 25 and 45 years old, stood approximately 5’5″ to 5’7″ tall, weighed 140 to 160 pounds, and had brown hair. His eye color could not be determined. At the time he was found, he was wearing only socks. He was also wearing a gold-colored ring with a crucifix, a gold-colored necklace chain, and a gold-colored chain with a religious medal. Dental records show he had numerous amalgam (silver) fillings, and both dental and full-body X-rays are available for comparison. Every unidentified person deserves to have their name restored and their story told.
