Stevey Howard Sommerville has been missing since September 6, 1990, when he disappeared at just 14 years old. He was last seen in Jamaica, Queens, New York, and his case remains classified as an Endangered Missing/Endangered Runaway. More than three decades have passed, but Stevey has never been forgotten, and those who care about him continue to hope that one day answers will finally come.
At the time of his disappearance, Stevey was 5’5″ tall, weighed approximately 125 pounds, and had black hair and brown eyes. He is a Black male born on September 23, 1975 and would be 50 years old today. An age-progressed image has been created to show what he may look like as an adult. Stevey has a scar in the center of his forehead and a mole near his right ear, two distinguishing features that may help someone recognize him after all these years. He may also use the nickname Steve or the aliases Stevey Summerville, Steve Sommers, Steve Somers, Howard Sommers, or Howard Somers.
Authorities believe Stevey may have left on his own, but regardless of the circumstances, his disappearance remains unsolved. Very little information has ever been released about what happened after he was last seen, leaving his loved ones with decades of unanswered questions and hope that someone, somewhere, knows the truth.
