🔍 The Investigation
Guy was reported missing to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office in September 2017. The Sheriff’s Office began investigating, and detectives from the criminal division were eventually assigned to the case.
In November 2017, the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit was asked to assist.
Investigators later conducted an extensive search of the property on Towers Road, with assistance from the Maine Warden Service, the Evidence Response Team, and K-9 units. Authorities secured the area as they searched for evidence and attempted to locate or make contact with Guy.
Police have described his disappearance as suspicious.
