Still Missing: Where Is Lorraine “Laurie” Blakney? 🔎🌲
On September 12, 2013, 70-year-old Lorraine Blakney, affectionately known as “Laurie,” disappeared from her home in Washington, New Hampshire. More than 13 years later, her disappearance remains unexplained, and the questions surrounding what happened to her have never been answered.
💔 According to reports, Lorraine left her residence after burning some personal belongings. She locked the door behind her, preventing family members from immediately following her. She has not been heard from since. Her sudden disappearance was especially concerning because her family reported changes in her mental acuity, leaving loved ones worried about her safety and well-being.
🕊️ Before she disappeared, Lorraine had been involved in a religious mission for children in Ethiopia. Reports indicate that changes in her mental acuity eventually prevented her from returning. At the time she went missing, she reportedly had no credit card, debit card, or cellphone, making it difficult to trace her movements or determine where she might have gone.
🔎 Lorraine was described as a white woman with white hair and hazel eyes. She stood approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighed around 120 pounds. She was known to wear a black cape and oversized, flowing dresses. She was 70 years old when she vanished and would be approximately 84 today.
🌲 Where did Lorraine go? Did someone see her walking in the Washington area that September day? Could someone have encountered her during her travels without realizing she was a missing person? Even the smallest detail could help investigators better understand what happened.
