πŸšŒπŸ’” STILL MISSING: What Happened to Sandra β€œSandy” Hopler? πŸ’”πŸšŒ

On September 29, 1973, 18-year-old Sandra Lee Hopler set out for what was supposed to be a visit to New York City. She was a student at Keystone Junior College in La Plume, Pennsylvania, and had reportedly told her roommate about her plans. Sandra was last seen at the Martz Trailways bus station in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

She never made it home. More than five decades later, no one knows what happened to her.

Sandra, affectionately known as β€œSandy,” was just beginning her adult life. At only 18 years old, she had dreams, plans, and a future ahead of her. What should have been an ordinary trip became the last known chapter of her life.

When she disappeared, Sandra was 5’4″ tall and weighed approximately 125 pounds. She had light brown hair and hazel eyes. She wore eyeglasses and had pierced ears. Distinguishing features include a small mole on the back of her right hand between her thumb and index finger, another small mole near the left side of her lip, and a small scar in one eyebrow.

Sandra was last seen wearing a burgundy blazer and dark-colored blouse. She was carrying a tan shoulder purse and wearing a new Seiko watch with a gold face.

For years, her disappearance has remained an unanswered mystery. Now, Pennsylvania State Police are continuing their efforts to bring attention to Sandra’s case and have released an updated age-progressed photograph to help the public recognize what she may look like today.

Sandra would be 71 years old today.

Think about how much time has passed. Generations have grown up, lives have changed, and the world around Scranton is no longer the same. Yet somewhere, there may be someone who remembers Sandra, knows something about her trip to New York, or has information that has never been shared with investigators.

πŸ’” Her family has been left with decades of uncertainty, and Sandra’s story deserves more than to become another forgotten missing-person case.

She was only 18 when she disappeared. She deserves to be found, and the questions surrounding that September day deserve answers.

πŸ”Ž DO YOU RECOGNIZE SANDRA?
