Several weeks have passed since Cary R. Grant, affectionately known to family and friends as “Gee” or “Gerb,” disappeared without a trace, leaving his loved ones trapped in an agonizing search for answers. The 51-year-old Laurel Lake, New Jersey resident was reported missing on June 19, 2026, after he was last seen in the Millville area on June 17. Since then, every day has brought more uncertainty, heartache, and hope that someone, somewhere, knows what happened.
One of the most heartbreaking details in Cary’s disappearance is that investigators believe he accidentally left his cellphone behind on the counter of a Wawa in Millville. His phone was recovered, but Cary was not. From that moment forward, there have been no confirmed sightings, no contact, and no explanation for where he went. The silence has been devastating for those who love him, as they continue to wait for the call that could finally bring answers.
Cary is described as a Black man, approximately 5’4″ tall and weighing around 125 pounds. At the time he vanished, he was believed to be driving a white GMC Terrain bearing New Jersey license plate J91SKH. Someone may have seen Cary, noticed his vehicle, or witnessed something unusual that didn’t seem important at the time. That one memory or small detail could make all the difference in helping investigators locate him.
