🕯️💔 STILL MISSING: The Disappearance of Denise Beaudin – A Mystery That Has Lasted Decades 💔🔎
On Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1981, 23-year-old Denise Beaudin spent the holiday with her family in Goffstown, New Hampshire. It would be the last time they ever saw her. After that day, Denise vanished, leaving behind a young daughter and a mystery that would take decades to uncover, and one that remains unsolved.
Denise lived in Manchester with her boyfriend, Robert Evans, and her six-month-old daughter, Dawn. When Denise’s family visited her apartment on December 1, 1981, neither Denise nor her boyfriend was there. The couple had reportedly been experiencing financial difficulties, so her family initially believed they had left the area together. But as time passed without contact, the questions surrounding Denise’s disappearance grew more troubling.
Despite the circumstances, Denise was not officially reported missing until 2016, nearly 35 years after she was last seen. Investigators eventually classified her disappearance as suspicious, and authorities continue to seek information about what happened to her.
🔎 The man Denise knew as Robert “Bob” Evans was later identified as Terrance Peder Rasmussen, a convicted murderer who used numerous aliases throughout his life. Rasmussen became connected to the horrifying Bear Brook murders in New Hampshire, in which the remains of four victims were discovered in barrels. Investigators believe he was responsible for their deaths, and he was also convicted of murdering Eunsoon Jun in California. He died in prison in 2010.
Rasmussen’s history has raised serious questions about Denise’s fate. Investigators believe he may have been responsible for her disappearance, but her case remains unsolved, and the circumstances of what happened to her have never been conclusively established.
💔 Denise’s daughter, Dawn, was eventually located through DNA connections in 2016. She had grown up under another identity and had no memories of her mother. Although Dawn’s identity was finally established, the answers about what happened to Denise remain elusive.
At just 23 years old, Denise had her whole life ahead of her. She was a young mother whose disappearance went unreported for decades, leaving a painful gap in her family’s history. Today, her case remains an important reminder that missing people must never be forgotten, even when years turn into generations.
🕊️ Denise was described as a white woman with brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5’4” to 5’6” tall and weighing between 120 and 140 pounds. She had a noticeable overbite.
📢 Investigators are asking anyone who knew Denise, knew Rasmussen during his time in New Hampshire, or has information about their relationship between 1976 and 1981 to come forward. Even a detail that seemed insignificant years ago could help bring new insight into this case.
